Watch for an email from vickstudios@livingroomstudios.com the week of March 23 with pre-order instructions. Please add this email to your safe senders list.

There will be no Recreational or PT classes held this week!
The picture week schedule is slightly different from your normal class time - view the schedule above. Plan to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time and meet your class in Studio 3. You will be notified upon arrival which shoes your dancer will be wearing for pictures.
Dancers should arrive completely ready to go (full hair/make-up, costume/tights & accessories).
One parent should stay and wait in the lobby until your dancer is done - pictures will last approx. 15 min.
If your dancer is in multiple classes or you have siblings who take class on different days, they may take all their photos the same day. You may use the dressing room to change.

Dress Rehearsal is held in-studio during your dancer's regularly scheduled class! Dancers will wear their recital costume, hair optional, but encouraged. Grown-ups will be invited in for the last 15 minutes of class to see recital dances and recognize this year's hard work!
Reminder! Two classes are in recitals different from their day of the week:
- Tiny Tutus (W 4:30) will perform with the Thurs & Fri Classes on Sunday, May 17 @ 4:30 PM
- Kinder-Ballet (W 5:45) will perform with the Saturday Classes on Saturday, May 16 @ 11:00 AM
Dancer Arrival for all shows begins 30 minutes before show time! Please give yourself time to get your dancer settled in their green room and for you to find your seats in the auditorium.

RECITAL EXTRAS
Recital costumes have been distributed to all classes! Like all clothing, costumes are not custom-fit to each dancer. Some minor alterations can be made to improve the fit (ex. straps lengthened/shortened, taking the sides in/out, hemming pants) and are the responsibility of the dancer/parent. If you have a major concern regarding the fit of your costume, please reach out to kirsten@platinumdance.com.
Recital Ticket Sales open Thursday, April 16 at 9:00 AM — be sure to mark your calendar!
Families may purchase up to 6 tickets per family per show during the initial sale. Once all families have had the opportunity to purchase, additional tickets will become available on May 4.
How to Purchase Tickets
- Log in to your Parent Portal
- Navigate to Shop → Tickets (found in the Menu or Quick Links)
- Select the show your dancer is participating in
- You can confirm your show by checking your dancer’s Weekly Schedule or enrolled classes
Ticket Details
- Tickets are $18+ (includes TicketPro fee + sales tax)
- Limit of 6 tickets per family per show during the first round
- Dancers in the show, parent volunteers, and children under 4 (lap seat) do not need a ticket
- There truly isn’t a bad seat in the auditorium—no need to stress about seat selection!

- Early Access opens Tuesday, April 14 at 9:00 AM
- Families who purchased a Recital Package should have received a confirmation email

We're excited to have Mr. Video recording our show again this year! A Recital Media Fee of $30/per family has been posted to your account on April 1. All families will receive the 2026 Recital video download approximately one month following Recital weekend.
Is this your dancer's 5th or 10th recital with Platinum Dance? We want to celebrate with you and recognize your dancer's dedication on stage! Please fill out this form linked below:
Join us for the crowd favorite! Dads & Dancers will be assigned to perform in the same show as your dancer's class. If you are in more than one show, you can choose to perform in one or ALL!

- We will contact you if 2 or less families sign-up for a show!
- More details on costume/theme will be shared at the first rehearsal!
- Attending both rehearsals is highly recommended, but if you can only attend 1, we will have a video of the dance for you to practice at home.

Practice Music & Videos are now available in your parent portal! You can access them by:
- Sign into your DSP parent portal
- Under "Quick Links" select "Files"
- Select the "Class Files" tab
- You can practice directly from the portal, download to your personal device, or airplay to your TV for a big screen experience!
*Some classes will be recording "in-progress" videos due to the nature of the choreography. We appreciate your understanding!
HAIR & MAKE-UP
The Platinum store has bun kits with everything you need! Just like in the classroom, it is important to secure your dancer's hair away from their face to ensure their smile shines onstage.
To create the perfect performance hair, use the following:
- Spray water bottle (to wet hair)
- Soft bristle brush
- Hair gel and hair spray
- Dancer Bun Kit—available in the Platinum store (bun form, bobby pins, ponytails, hair net)
- Be sure to add your dancer's hair accessory that was provided in their costume bag
The Platinum store has children stage make-up kits with everything you need! To create the perfect performance make-up, use the following:
- Dancer make-up kit—available in the Platinum store (eyeshadow, blush, lipstick)
- Mascara
- Make-up remover
