What Parents Want to Know
What should my dancer wear?
Comfortable clothing is recommended—leggings, a t-shirt, or any outfit that allows free movement. Ballet shoes are welcome, but socks or barefoot work as well.
What age is "My First Dance Class" for?
This class is designed especially for young beginners, typically ages 2 to 5 years old.
Is this a trial class?
Not quite—My First Dance Class isn’t a trial of our regular classes. It’s a special, one-of-a-kind intro experience where kids get to try different dance styles, learn some basics, and discover what they love. It's the perfect jumping off point into dance!
Can my child take this class more than once?
This class is intended as a one-time experience to launch your little one into their own dance journey. If you love the class, we encourage you to register for one of our weekly school year classes!
Am I allowed to watch class?
Parents are invited into the classroom at the start of class to take a picture and help their dancer get situated. Dancers will explore taking dance class independently for the remainder of time. Parents can watch from the studio door windows or our viewing monitors.
What if we can't make class?
No worries! Simply let us know and we’ll do our best to reschedule your class for another available date.
