Megan grew up dancing in the Twin Cities at Dance Spectrum learning jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and more for 10 years, as well as also studying hip-hop, tap, and musical theater throughout the Cities. She then went on to Creighton University to study Marketing, Dance, and Hispanic Studies and Language. During her time at Creighton, she assistant directed, choreographed, and performed in over 15 shows, being nominated for Outstanding Choreography, Outstanding Direction, and Outstanding Performance for the Omaha Performing Arts. She also was nominated for her choreography at the Wilson Performing Arts Center in Iowa. As a teacher, Megan’s main focus is to help the personal growth of each student through their confidence, understanding of their body and brain, and mastering sarcastic eye rolls with her plethora of dad-jokes. Megan has a passion for teaching that is combined with her passion for dance, and she is absolutely thrilled to share her passion and knowledge for dance with the students at Platinum Dance.
