2024-25 School Year Registration OPENS on May 15 for Current Families and on June 1 for New Families!

CLASS Details

The school year dance program runs from September – May. Registration for the 2024-25 season opens on June 1. Our 2024-25 Fall/Spring season starts September 4 – 10, 2024.

The summer dance program runs from May – August. Registration for Summer 2024 opens on February 1. View our Summer Classes HERE.

Dress Code

Pre-Dance & Pre-Dance II:

Attire: Any color dance leotard and skirt or dance dress. Any color tights.

Shoes: Capezio Luna Ballet Shoes V100C (Ballet Pink) & Capezio Shuffle Tap Shoes 356C (Black Patent)

Pre-Ballet, Pre-Ballet II & Broadway Babies:

Attire: Any color dance leotard and skirt or dance dress. Any color tights.

Shoes: Capezio Luna Ballet Shoes V100C (Ballet Pink)

Pre-Acro & Acro – Add on:

Attire: Any color dance leotard dance top & shorts/pants.

Shoes: Barefoot (no shoes required)

Hippity Hop:

Attire: Any color dance leotard dance top & shorts/pants.

Shoes: Clean Tennis Shoes or Capezio Jazz Glove Shoes CG33W (Carmel)

Attire & Shoes can be ordered conveniently at the Platinum Dance Store.

TUITION AND FEES

One-time Annual Registration Fee ($35 per dancer) is billed at the time of registration for School Year classes.
Monthly Tuition includes Class Tuition, Recital Costume Fee, Recital Tights, & Recital Accessories (no additional fees!)
Hip-Hop Classes: Required Recital Performance Shoes ($45+)
Monthly Tuition is calculated by the total number of classes in the season and divided into 9 equal installments (Sept-May).
Tuition is auto-billed on the 1st of every month (Sept-May).

Extras

Discounts: 5% tuition discount for dancers taking more than one class and/or families with more than one dancer.
Nutcracker: Our optional Winter Performance, Nutcracker “Land of the Sweets” has a one-time audition + participation fee (includes costume!)

Preschool Class Descriptions

All Preschool Classes perform 1 routine in the recital, with the exception of Pre-Dance II (which performs 2 routines).

Pre-Dance: A beginner tap & ballet combo class that integrates Creative Movement in a more structured classroom environment. Pre-Dance focuses on dance vocabulary, basic steps and correct form through 20 minutes of tap and 20 minutes of ballet.

Pre-Ballet: Introduces the young dancer to ballet through the stories and songs of the great ballets and creative music. Dancers will learn beginner ballet terminology & technique.

Pre-Acro: Using the AcroDance Pre-School curriculum, we teach physical and social-emotional literacy to our youngest dancers. Song, dance, story telling, play and games keep little ones on task and having fun while mastering important milestones.

Pre-Dance II: A tap & ballet combo class that continues teaching Pre-Dance fundamentals at a faster pace. Pre-Dance II introduces basic jazz steps and begins to incorporate combinations and advance on age appropriate skills. *This class performs 2 routines in the recital.

Pre-Ballet II: A continuation of teaching Pre-Ballet fundamentals at a faster pace. Pre-Ballet II expands on ballet terminology and technique and begins to incorporate combinations and advance on age appropriate skills.

Hippity Hop: Bounce along to the beat in this intro hip-hop class for kids. A great add-on to a traditional class and way to introduce a jazz-funk style to your young dancer!

Broadway Babies: An introduction to musical theater for young dancers. Broadway Babies will sing, dance and act to broadway/movie hits while learning basic ballet and jazz steps.

Acro – Add on: This 15 minute add-on class is the perfect addition if your dancer is looking to improve on executing skills, progressing in strength, and grow confidence in their acro skills! *This class is intended for dancers ages 3-6 who take a class either before OR after the class time.
