Ages 7-9

As a dancer moves from our Kinder Program to our Kids Program, they will experience more of a skills focus with the emphasis still being on the FUN!

CLASS Details

The school year dance program runs from September – May.

The summer dance program runs from May – August.

Tuition listed below is all inclusive of class tuition and recital costume!

Pre-Dance & Pre-Dance II:

Attire: Any color dance leotard and skirt or dance dress. Any color tights.

Shoes: Capezio Luna Ballet Shoes V100C (Ballet Pink) & Capezio Shuffle Tap Shoes 356C (Black Patent)

Pre-Ballet, Pre-Ballet II & Broadway Babies:

Attire: Any color dance leotard and skirt or dance dress. Any color tights.

Shoes: Capezio Luna Ballet Shoes V100C (Ballet Pink)

Pre-Acro & Acro – Add on:

Attire: Any color dance leotard dance top & shorts/pants.

Shoes: Barefoot (no shoes required)

Hippity Hop:

Attire: Any color dance leotard dance top & shorts/pants.

Shoes: Clean Tennis Shoes or Capezio Jazz Glove Shoes CG33W (Carmel)

Attire & Shoes can be ordered conveniently at the Platinum Dance Store.

One-time Annual Registration Fee ($35 per dancer) is billed at the time of registration for School Year classes.
Monthly Tuition includes Class Tuition, Recital Costume Fee, Recital Tights, & Recital Accessories (no additional fees!)
Hip-Hop Classes: Required Recital Performance Shoes ($45+)
Monthly Tuition is calculated by the total number of classes in the season and divided into 9 equal installments (Sept-May).
Tuition is auto-billed on the 1st of every month (Sept-May).

Extras

Discounts: 5% tuition discount for dancers taking more than one class and/or families with more than one dancer.
Nutcracker: Our optional Winter Performance, Nutcracker “Land of the Sweets” has a one-time audition + participation fee (includes costume!)

All Kids Classes perform 1 routine in the recital, with the exception of Kids Dance (which performs 2 routines).

Kids Ballet: Our ballet program equips today’s young dancers with the artistry and athleticism necessary for today’s dance world. While still maintaining the classical tradition of dance as an art form, the comprehensive training program offers students the opportunity to explore artistically, and creatively while following our curriculum based on physical principles.Kids Dance: Beginner to intermediate tap and jazz combo class. This class will start with the fundamentals and progress forward with attention to technique and form. These classes also work towards improving flexibility, confidence, and showmanship. Class format is 30 minutes of tap and 30 minutes of jazz with proper warm-ups in each style and choreography combinations. *This class performs two routines in the recital. Kids Hip-Hop: This class will focus on rhythm through hip-hop choreography and combinations along with working on beginner to intermediate hip-hop tricks and choreography. Learn the coolest moves and skills to share with your friends to the latest radio hits! An upbeat and high energy style class!Kids Musical Theater: This beginner to intermediate Musical Theater class integrates drama, dance, singing, and improvisation in a fun and creative class. From costumes and characters to props and performances, this is one class where students truly get to show their star potential.

Kids Acro: A continuation of blending the artistry of dance with the athletic ability of acro. Dancers will continue their dance training while smoothly transitioning to acro skills. This class will focus on dancers comfortably executing skills on both sides, progressing in strength and conditioning, and growing confidence in their acro skills.
