CLASS Details

The school year dance program runs from September – May. Registration for the 2024-25 season opens on June 1. Our 2024-25 Fall/Spring season starts September 4 – 10, 2024.

The summer dance program runs from May – August. Registration for Summer 2024 opens on February 1. View our Summer Classes HERE.

Dress Code

Academy Tap/Jazz & Accelerated Tap/Jazz

Attire: Any color dance leotard & skirt or dance top & shorts/pants.

Shoes: Capezio Jazz Glove Shoes CG33 (Caramel) & Capezio Fluid Tap Shoes CG17 (Caramel)

Academy Hip-Hop & Academy Teen Hip-Hop

Attire: Any dance top & shorts/pants. No street clothing or loose fitting attire.

Shoes: Clean Tennis Shoes or Capezio Jazz Glove Shoes CG33W (Carmel)

Academy Musical Theater

Attire: Any color dance leotard & skirt or dance top & shorts/pants.

Shoes: Capezio Jazz Glove Shoes CG33 (Caramel)

Academy Contemporary Lyrical & Academy Teen Contemporary Lyrical

Attire: Any color dance leotard & skirt or dance top & shorts/pants.

Shoes: Tan Canvas Half Soles

Kids/Academy Acro & Academy Acro

Attire: Any color dance leotard dance top & shorts/pants.

Shoes: Barefoot (no shoes required)

Accelerated Jazz Technique

Attire: Any color dance leotard & skirt or dance top & shorts/pants.

TUITION AND FEES

One-time Annual Registration Fee ($35 per dancer) is billed at the time of registration for School Year classes.
Monthly Tuition includes Class Tuition, Recital Costume Fee, Recital Tights, & Recital Accessories (no additional fees!)
Hip-Hop Classes: Required Recital Performance Shoes ($45+)
Monthly Tuition is calculated by the total number of classes in the season and divided into 9 equal installments (Sept-May).
Tuition is auto-billed on the 1st of every month (Sept-May).

Extras

Discounts: 5% tuition discount for dancers taking more than one class and/or families with more than one dancer.
Nutcracker: Our optional Winter Performance, Nutcracker “Land of the Sweets” has a one-time audition + participation fee (includes costume!)

Academy Class Descriptions

All Academy Classes perform 1 routine in the recital, with the exception of Academy Tap/Jazz & Accelerated Tap/Jazz (which performs 2 routines).

Academy Tap/Jazz: Beginner to intermediate tap and jazz combo class. This class will start with the fundamentals and progress forward with attention to technique and form. These classes also work towards improving flexibility, confidence, and showmanship. Class format is 30 minutes of tap and 30 minutes of jazz with proper warm-ups in each style and choreography combinations. *This class performs two routines in the recital.

Academy Hip-Hop: This class will focus on rhythm through hip-hop choreography and combinations along with working on beginner to intermediate hip-hop tricks and choreography. Learn the coolest moves and skills to share with your friends to the latest radio hits! An upbeat and high energy style class!

Academy Musical Theater: This beginner to intermediate Musical Theater class integrates drama, dance, singing, and improvisation in a fun and creative class. From costumes and characters to props and performances, this is one class where students truly get to show their star potential.

Academy Contemporary Lyrical: Learn proper technique & skill (ballet-based) as you express emotions through graceful music & soft choreography.

Academy Teen Contemporary Lyrical (12+): Learn proper technique & skill (ballet-based) as you express emotions through graceful music & soft choreography.

Academy Teen Hip-Hop (12+): This class will focus on rhythm through hip-hop choreography and combinations along with working on beginner to intermediate hip-hop tricks and choreography. Learn the coolest moves and skills to share with your friends to the latest radio hits! An upbeat and high energy style class!

Kids/Academy Acro: A continuation of blending the artistry of dance with the athletic ability of acro. Dancers will continue their dance training while smoothly transitioning to acro skills. This class will focus on dancers comfortably executing skills on both sides, progressing in strength and conditioning, and growing confidence in their acro skills.

Accelerated Tap/Jazz : This accelerated class will move at a faster pace and an intermediate to advanced level. It will incorporate Jazz Technique, skills and work on flexibility. The class will get to learn combinations and choreography in the styles of Tap and Jazz. This class is great for Performance Team dancers or recreational dancers that are ready for the next level. Must have 3+ years of dance experience or a personal instructor recommendation/assessment. *This class performs two routines in the recital.

Accelerated Jazz Technique: This accelerated class will move at a faster pace and an intermediate to advanced level. It will incorporate Jazz Technique, skills and work on flexibility. The class will get to learn combinations and choreography in the style of Jazz. Dancers will perform 1 jazz routine in the recital. This class is great for Performance Team dancers or recreational dancers that are ready for the next level. Must have 3+ years of dance experience or a personal instructor recommendation/assessment. Must take an additional recreational or performance team class – ballet is the most recommended. *This class does NOT perform in the recital.
